You don’t have to have an expensive steamer or espresso machine to steam milk. The foamy milk won’t be quite the same, but it’s very, very good. Pour the milk into a small saucepan over high heat. Gently move the pan on the eye in a circular motion to swish the milk until it begins to foam. The instant it reaches the rim, take it off the heat and pour it into your coffee. DO NOT LEAVE IT UNATTENDED! It will boil over in a flash and burned milk smells terrible!
