COOKING TIP: Roasted Nuts

This works equally well for pecans, almonds, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, and hazelnuts. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spread the nuts on a dry baking sheet and roast until fragrant, about 10 minutes. Test for doneness by cooling one nut and biting it in half. The center should be lightly browned. Roast in additional 1-minute increments if necessary. Do not leave unattended. Nuts will burn very quickly.
